APPLICATIONS

CONCRETE

Because of the exceptional ground movement and shifting in Manitoba due to extreme weather between seasons and expansive soils, all of our concrete applications are built on a compacted limestone base. When the base decides to move, everything moves as one solid unit. tight rebar spacing adds the tensile strength to our concrete to prevent any separation.

PAVING STONES

All of our paving stone projects are installed on top of a concrete base, reinforced with rebar, with compacted limestone below. This eliminates shifting and movement between the individual stones. commercial grade geo cloth and aluminum edge restraints bolted to the concrete surface makes for a low-maintenance project that is built to last.

Using a range of products from common paving stones to special stones imported from around the world, we source and design every custom project to meet the needs of our clients.

TEXTURES

Textured concrete combines the low maintenance and strength qualities of basic poured concrete with the resemblance of traditional building materials such as stone, slate, tile, brick, and even wood.

COLOURS

Expertly selected colours are designed to enhance and meet the needs of your project. The chosen colour is uniform throughout the concrete which provides a superior product that will not fade over time.

In addition to the integral concrete colour we add a second pigment to the surface of the poured concrete called a release powder to add dimension and to accentuate the chosen texture.
